Re: mdadm 2.6.1 released

Question, I know that it is supposed to start the array after it has been created. In my case I tried reusing a couple of old hard drive that had old Linux RAID Autodetect (fd) partitions on them. At this point I have done everything short of let badblocks run on them overnight to get rid of the old md auto detect stuff. I want to create a new array without having mdadm run a recovery on the array. Is this even possible in this secenario?
